My customized treatment method is based on the patient’s condition.

It can be a combination of acupuncture, electrical stimulation, cupping, and/or gua sha when necessary.

In most chronic conditions, it is recommended to undergo a series of treatments to feel the desired outcome.

Some people with high level of pain had obtained favorable results when acupuncture treatment was done  one to three times a week. Studies have shown that acupuncture is a great alternative to opioid medications in controlling pain.

We always recommend staying hydrated and eating something light at least one hour before your arrival.

We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy access to parts of your body during the treatment.

It is important to empty your bladder before your treatment to ensure safe needling of the lower abdomen, if necessary.

Some patients worry about the pain of acupuncture, but during most treatments, patients rarely feel any pain. They can even relax and take a nap.  Sometimes they could feel a sensation or the conduction of the acupuncture area, which is the effect of pain relief.

Due to the complexity of certain diseases, specific acupuncture points are selected to achieve a higher efficiency of pain relief.

After the treatment, most patients feel relaxed physically and mentally. Many have reported that their sleeping quality has improved.

For some complicated and long-term illnesses, patients might experience some symptoms the next day, which is perfectly normal. In Chinese natural therapy, this is a sign that the body is beginning to correct and balance itself, just like cars starting to move after a traffic jam!

This office is a fee-for-service , meaning our patients pay cash or with credit card at the time of service. Our service will be subject to full payment upfront.

We gladly check your insurance coverage for acupuncture care. Please bring your insurance card and photo ID to your first appointment so that we can determine your benefits.

Once we determine that your sessions are covered in full or part, we will bill your insurance for you and reimburse you for your cash payment.

If you cannot come for the treatment, please notify us 24 hours in advance.

The Acugraph Digital Meridian Imaging system is a computerized tool used to analyze and document the energetic status of the acupuncture meridians. This is a short examination by touching a moistened probe to your hands and feet.
Acupuncture meridians are invisible energy pathways in your body that have been used therapeutically for over 5,000 years.
These meridians conduct life-force energy, or Qi (pronounced “chee”) in and around all the parts of your body.
Blockage or interference in these meridian pathways can result in energetic imbalances that may contribute to negative health consequences.
The primary goal of acupuncture is to restore energetic balance and proper energy flow to the meridians, thus allowing your body to function normally, and return to health naturally.

The acugraph system measures and analyzes the energy balance of each of the acupuncture meridians. Armed with this information, better informed-decisions about your condition are made.
